@matyldaxo Please both clear the EA App's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and uninstall and reinstall it again.
If that doesn't help, you can try reinstalling Origin and downloading the game from there. Here's a download link:

@puzzlezaddict Thank you for trying to help me but it didn't work, when i cleared the app's cache and reinstalled the app, it was still seen as installed. Also when i downloaded Origin, the game started automatically fixing itself and then it was seen as installed. Turns out that I had to delete the EA Games folder from This computer>disc C>Program Files>EA Games, then i deleted the The Sims 4 folder from Documents>Electronic Arts> The Sims 4, because it seemed to appear again when I tried to open the game. When I deleted them both I reinstalled the EA App and when I logged in, the game was in my library but finally wasn't visible as installed so i was able to install it again. Thank you for responding!!
