unable to use computers or laptops after the last update

@Mysterygem45  If it happened right after a update I wonder if you removed your mods and CC before. Please try in a new folder, without moving anything back from your old one, and report back which computers you cannot use. Screenshots or build/buy names are both good.

@Mysterygem45  Okay, thanks. The reason for trying in a new folder is to be able to exclude anything being amiss in your old one, and it's just a troubleshooting step. If there is no problem with clicking the computers in the new folder, then we can start looking at the files and folders in your old one, trying to narrow it down.
Creating a new folder will do just that, and all your saves and other files will be safe in your old folder. The game will only load the folder named exactly The Sims 4, so when you have tested a new folder, you can just delete that one, and rename your old one back to The Sims 4, for the game to once again load your old savefiles again.

Follow these steps:
Rename your The Sims 4 folder, to for instance, The Sims 4old

Do a repair in Origin: Open Origin client, My Game Library, right-click on The Sims 4 icon, choose Repair in the dropdown menu, wait till all the packs you own are done. Restart Origin by logging out.

Start the game, make a new save, create a random sim in CAS, and give them every computer you have problem with in your regular save; try to click on them.

Also:
Please say which computers you have problem clicking on. If you open Build/Buy and click the object, you will see its name in the lower right corner. This is so that I can test if it happens for me as well.
Can you click on other things in game?
