unbearable simulation lag
my sims keep pausing and not doing anything CONSTANTLY after the lovestruck patch
i'm currently playing in an 8 sim household so that might be part reason why, i do have mods but even without them this was happening i did try. i have all expansion packs, all game packs except jurney to batuu, all stuff packs and most kits
@angelsimz20 If your sims' inventories are full, please empty them as much as possible. You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.
If that doesn't help, please test a new save, with no mods or custom content, to set a baseline for performance. If the game still lags, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

If the new save runs fine, please move your main household to a different lot, a default EA-made house (nothing from your Library or the Gallery) in a base game world. Empty their inventories again and see how things go. Here again, you don't need to save your progress, just play long enough to find out whether it helps.
