@fallenimaginary and @LadyLoneWolf Please clear the EA App's cache:

Restart your computer, open the EA App game library, hover over the Sims 4 icon, click the three dots, and select Repair. Then see whether the game is updated, and if not, try to update again.
The EA App may be somewhat slow right now due to all the players downloading the new pack, so if you can't get it to work, please try again in an hour or so.
@fallenimaginary @LadyLoneWolf @puzzlezaddict I am having the same issue as well, I tried everything. I tried to download the update 4 times and it wouldn't go past 2.80GB then the fourth time, it wouldn't go past 3.16GB. I've restarted the app, cleared the cache, restarted my pc, cleared my game cache, and nothing seems to work, honestly it might be an EA app problem on their end. The error says "Unknown error" and doesn't give a code or anything.
- @mattgamerdude33 I figured it out, just download it through steam! It's free and it connects to your ea account so you don't lose your dlcs, I hope this works for you
