Unplayable
Not sure where to start. I can't access my sims needs; the needs themselves look different- just arrows, cannot access their ambitions or career objectives, can't use the phone, and the phone icon changes when I hover over to a calendar maybe?, I can't even exit the game anymore, my sims won't respond to almost any command (changing clothes, going to work, talking to someone, eating). I can access Build mode but I cannot leave it and there is no menu at all. Animations and all are okay, its just the actual play that's broken. It was like this after the update before the new expansion launched, so I figured I'd wait until the expansion came out. I updated my game and repaired it through EA, and now it's even worse. At least a few days ago, I could exit the game, but now I can't exit, and I can't even pull up task manager to force close.
@rad2thebones What game version are you running? You can check in the lower-right corner of the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one. The current version is 1.108.335, so if you don't see that, please update or repair again.
If you use mods or custom content, please move the entire Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.
