.So I just bought the sims 4 today and I have been trying to update origin and ever time it finishes it says updatetool.exe has stopped working. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this because I would like to play the game but it wont let me go pass this. PLEASE HELP
it tells me elevated permissions are required to run dsim

@Allana93Rose Yes, you do need elevated permissions to run DISM or sfc, which is why you need to choose the PowerShell option with "(Administrator)" in its name.
If that doesn't help, please describe the specific issue you're having.

@hene15 Are you seeing the exact same error as the others in this thread? If not, please post a screenshot of the error, and let me know what you're trying to do when it happens. Please also try the steps in post 2 if you haven't already.
