Vampire content missing from Create A Sim

Hello.  I have downloaded and installed the Vampires expansion pack for Sims 4.  I have the new town and new life goals, but when I went to make a family there's no new features, specifically I don't...

    At the bottom right click New Sim and select Vampire. The sim will have fangs. You can then remove the auto generated normal sim.
