Video is blurry when using the in game camera to record.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
What is your current game version number? 1.62.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, Get Together, City Living, Get to Work. Realm of Magic, StrangerVille, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Outdoor Retreat. Tiny Living, My First Pet, Laundry Day, Toddler, Fitness, Bowling Night, Vintage Glamour, Backyard, Romantic Garden, Movie Hangout, Spooky, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio. All free stuff.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Unknown

I have been trying to record videos using the in game recorder. The videos come out blurry. I have tried uncompressed and high quality, both come out blurry. I am using VLC media player to view the videos as the Windows 10 software can not run the videos. In game my game looks nice and crisp.

Any ideas?

    I figured it out 🙂. Turns out it is blurry because the in game camera records at a low screen resolution. I had to go into the game files and change the resolution the game recorded at in order to have it look clear.

    @Quinurth  Could you post a video showing what you mean by blurry, and also a screenshot of the game, for comparison of sharpness. Also take screenshots of your settings:

    Graphics, and Screen Capture.

    I tried capturing a couple of short videos, and they are blurry/blurrier than the in-game visual. I viewed them with Windows Media Player. I got a small change in sharpness by changing from Medium to Large Capture Size, on Capture Quality High; but there are a lot of variations to try, so it would help to know what settings you have. Also perhaps your graphics card's full name would be good to know.
