@KizaPixieQueen Please open both Steam and the EA App as an admin: right-click each desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator." Only try to launch Sims 4 when both apps have loaded properly.
Please also make sure the Steam and EA accounts are properly linked. The simplest way to do so is to open an EA website, where you're not already logged in (a private browser window is a good option here), and click the sign-in button, then the Steam logo, and enter your Steam credentials. If that Steam account is linked to an EA account, you'll land in that EA account.
If your accounts aren't linked properly, let me know. If they are, but running both apps as an admin doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

linked both steam and discord and it's still not fixed.
@KizaPixieQueen Your dxdiag shows that EASteamProxy.exe has been crashing, which is a component of the EA App that supports the Steam tie-in. I've seen some older posts that say killing this in the Task Manager after both apps are open can help, so try that; it should be listed with the other the background processes. If this causes problems, just close both apps and restart your computer.
The next step would be to temporarly disable your antivirus, just long enough to test. If it works, set an exception for everything in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop
If that doesn't help either, try disabling the EA App and Steam overlays. And while testing, continue to open both the EA App and Steam as an admin.
