WHAT ARE TRAYS IN MY SIMS 4

Okay.  I've already "harassed" some of the other Sims 4 players, thank you very much for your patience.  Now I have another question and need answers.  Quick background story:  Windows updated.  Lost game.  Found game.  Saved game to flash drive and OneDrive (this will be my second question).  Lost game completely on flash drive, Media Creation scandal, my fault.  Now the word "tray" comes into the picture.  I have trays but do not understand them.  So first, what is the difference between trays and saved slots in the Sims 4?  And second, how do I retrieve my saved slots in OneDrive?  I know they are there but I cannot see them.

I'm about to be banned from EA.  I just know it.  Someone, please have pity on me.

    Hi @RoamiBlu

You're in the wrong forum but someone will probably move your post soon, please in the future choose game by clicking "all boards" and then your game in the Upper Left Corner.

Also for some reason I can post replies to all other threads but your old one lol 😉

Crinrict has a really good explanation of the user files, check that out!

So basically the saves are your games, but the tray has households and homes that you saved to the library (a household is saved automatically when created)

So, did you sync your saves to OneDrive? And now you cannot see them? Did you compress the folder, can you see the folder? Maybe it needs more time syncing?
