@PerfectPlumbobs It actually doesn't matter which entry you change. You could add your friend's device ID under any line you want, or make a new line and call it whatever you like. There are only two relevant details: that you're adding the device ID in the Nvidia section (you are) and that the entry you're using is for a card rated Uber (all the 3050s are).
If you want to be precise, none of these entries is exactly correct for your friend's card since they're all laptop GPUs and he has, I believe, one of these:

Like I said, it doesn't matter, but by the strictest definition, you'd create a new line with this:
card 0x2507 "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
The issue here is that Sims 4's database doesn't have the newest device IDs yet, including those for the relatively recently-released 3050 desktop GPU.
@PerfectPlumbobs It doesn't matter at all where you put the new line as long as it's in the Nvidia category.
