White Color looks Cream/Tan

I thought I would come here and see if there is a solution to my problem. Ever since the release of Sims 4, I keep trying to select white items from build mode/buy mode and, while they look white in the little tag, when you actually place the item in the world it is ALWAYS tan or cream colored or the sort. Please help me. I have my graphics up all the way and an excellent computer and monitor so I know the problem can't be on my end. However, if there is anything I can do to improve this please let me know. I have reinstalled and this has done nothing to fix my problem. I don't have any CC or anything! I don't understand how I can't pick 1 white item in this game. It is driving me insane. I am able to have white clothing... if that helps any... but all the funiture/wall colorings/etc is all tan and crappy. I want a modern house where the living room is white with accents and I am unable to achieve this. Please, it has been months since release.... I thought this would have been patched up at some point but it hasn't. I know it is not a priority for anyone but it is driving me insane! I found other people online that were having the same problem, although they had an issue with the blue color as well, which I am not sure I have cared about. The color swatches sometimes show the wrong color for me too. I'm starting to feel color blind lol Please help.

    @Nickazura

    Hey there,

I'm actually colorblind (and it sucks sometimes!) but I haven't had this issue in build mode. One thing to keep in mind is that in many color patterns you'll see two colors, one being the base color and the other one the secondary color, which may cause issues sometimes when you think you're getting one color as the main one but it turns out it's the other.

I'd be interested in seeing your DXDiag to make sure your drivers are updated. 🙂

Let's see if a DXDiag reveals anything.

To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, please follow the steps below:
    1.  Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
    2.  You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
    3.  Type dxdiag in the text field
    4.  Click OK
    5.  If your computer has a 64-bit version of Windows, click the button Run 64-bit DXDIAG (see screenshot below)
    6.  If your computer has a 32-bit version of Windows, that button will not be available

64-bit Users will notice the "Run 64-bit DxDiag" button in the bottom-left next to "Help" and should click it once it becomes available.  32-bit Users will not have this as a visible option.
Once you have an open DXDIAG report, there are several pieces of information that are especially helpful in pinpointing the cause of game performance issues:
      • The main page of the DXIDAG is the System tab. On the System tab, make a note of what is written next to Operating System, Processor, and Memory. Those three pieces of information are the key components of the System tab.
      • Next, click on the Display tab. On the Display tab (seen in the screenshot below) please note the information written next to the word Name. Finally, on the right-hand side of the Display tab is a Drivers heading. Please note what is written next to the word Date.

If you have any trouble reading the DXDIAG file yourself, you can save all the DXDIAG info as a text file and send it to an EA advisor for more assistance.

    7.  Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
    8.  Save this text file to your Desktop if possible, then go to hastebin.com and copy the contents of the file.
    9. Give us the link of the paste in a reply to this thread. 🙂
