Who is Maxis ?

Hello, 

I would like to know who Maxis is in sims 4 game that keeps favoriting others work, is that person another player?, or does that person work for EA?, or what?, I ask again cause it seems that this Maxis never looks at MY creations!, I have made over 500 creations in the sims 4 game, and not one of them is Favored by Maxis, but they are favored by alot of the players, so Am i ever going to get a favor from maxis?, or am i just wasting my time typing this, or holding my breathe for not ? .
