Why can't I install custom content for the sims 4 on my pc

I can't install custom content on my computer for sims 4.

    The package files ? You don't need to open them. Just copy into your mods folder. If they are rar files you need to donload 7zip or winrar.

i have the same problem. i cant get custom content into my Sims 4 game.

i have tried everything. even re-installed the game.

have resource file in mods

advanced box is ticked

removed winrar

placed the correct files in relevant folders.

no cc.

very annoying as cc is one of THE reasons i play the Sims

Hey guys. I can upload a video to YouTube explaining how I figured out how to use Custom Content. There was one minuet detail I overlooked although I can't remember what and now I can use Custom Content all day
