Why did my sims university enrollment just disapear

When I saved it was fine, but when I came back to it, it was gone, and unfortunately, I don't have any backups

      @1457515 It's a bit hard to tell what happened to your Sim. You can enroll again but you need to start over with everything.

      Did your Sim live at home ?
