Why does my Sims 4 game have lines and messed up options?

I finally got the Sims 4 demo, But it has lines, When I start it up the introduction is normal, But when I was at the start menu the background was black, the people were faded in, and I can't find b...

I've been having that same exact problem. I got scared because I thought it was my PC. But yeah , it starts fine but where the buttons are and when you "travel" for instance , all you see are white and purple lines spinning around . It's really annoying.
