why does my sims 4 on pc keep freezing at home screen?

I'm having problems playing the sims 4 on my pc, every time i go on it it always freezes at the home screen were the sims 4 logo is and i'm not sure why I just got an update yesterday and it worked b...

and also is it maybe a problem with all the mods i have because they are all from safe websites.

Mods get outdated with patches. You need to check the sites you downloaded them from and see if there's an update.

Sims unavailable for travel
