So i wanted to update the sims 4 when it said that i don't have enough storage, and i needed 20 GB. I don't know if this is a bug, but i don't think an update should take up this much place.
I tried restarting the EA App, restarting my laptop but nothing works.
I'd really appreciate any help.

@Amy1218 This is a problem with the EA App, not just for Sims 4 but for most if not all games. I don't know whether it's a bug or just poor design, but either way, it's how the App works right now.
One potential way around the problem is repairing the game: open your game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.
If that doesn't help, then you'll need to clear more space, which would be best for the overall health of your computer anyway; or uninstall and reinstall the game.
