Summarize your bug I deleted and redownloaded the entirety of Sims 4 with all my add-ons as it couldn't find my game once I was forced to switch from Origin to the EA App. Now it won't let me play the game at all, even offline, as it states I need to update. The apparent update is over 20gb???!!! This can't be correct as it's as much as the actual base game itself. Is it trying to redownload the entire base game again? How can I download only the necessary update?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simply look and see how your app doesn't work.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time I try to launch the game as it insists on downloading an enormous update.
What do you expect to see? It downloading??? Me playing???
Honestly at this point if there was some complaint line I would be calling and fighting for a refund for all the money I have spent on this game. As it is I am looking at referring to an appropriate ombudsman for the sheer lack of communication and ability to find support.

@AlyxKatDark The EA App is budgeting the full size of the base game as it goes to update, but it's not actually downloading all that data. This is a problem with the App across most if not all games, and is unfortunately either by design or not a priority to fix, judging by all the posts about it.
