why is my sims 4 update failing and asking to change the location of my file?

I stopped playing Sims 4 as of January 2020 because of my hectic schedule and now, since i had tons of free time i wanted to play it again. But when I'm trying to update it, it either says 'please check that the location is available or cancel and restart the download to another location,' pop-up or 'download failed.' can someone please help me with this? I've been struggling with this for the past 4 days..

I've cleared the cache, restarted the download and my pc about 3-4times, and moved the location to another folder. Please help me!
