The more programs you install/uninstall the slower your computer gets. Regular maintenance is always a good thing but that doesn't have anything in particular to do with SIms 4.
Also it should not harm your computer.
Is this something you heard or why the concern ?
- Anonymous11 years agoWhat do you mean by install more?

If you install any program on your hard disc, your hard disc gets fuller. If you uninstall a program, they often leave traces behind or fragment your disc, which can also make your computer slower but as said, that has nothing to do with Sims 4 in particular.

I have a mac and wondering the same thing.

I'm wondering this too because I just got my new Macbook Air 13" and I'm afraid if I install it, that it's going to be very slow. I need this laptop for school and homework, but also when I get bored and I want to play Sims!
Anyone answer please 🤔
