@24maddie That's not a bad laptop for the price: its graphics card is capable of running Sims 4, all packs included, on medium high settings at least, or high if you don't have all the demanding expansions installed. I would worry a little about buying from a third-party vendor on Amazon, but the seller does seem to have a good reputation.
If you can spend $1,000 though, you could get a gaming laptop with a proper gaming graphics card. The Nvidia 1650 in this laptop is almost three times as fast as the MX250 in the one you found and can run all Sims 4 content on ultra settings with some room to spare, which would better accommodate the increased demands of future expansions. The laptop doesn't have a lot of storage, but it's enough for Sims 4, your user data, plus however many small apps like browsers you'd want.

In between in price and performance would be this laptop, with an Nvidia 1050, although it's temporarily out of stock. The 1050 is more than twice as fast as an MX250, although still significantly slower than the 1650, and would just barely handle all current Sims 4 packs on ultra settings. This model also has twice the storage of the Acer. I have no idea when this laptop would be back in stock, but you could contact Amazon and ask if there's a rough estimate.
