@35535rr The "Acer basic" is only marginally better than the one you were originally considering, and I don't know what it costs in Ireland or even whether it's available. But you can do better than the laptop you linked either in price or hardware.
As a side note, you might not run out of storage with a 256 GB drive, but it's nice to have a larger drive so you don't have to worry about it.
This is newer (by one year) and slightly better version of the one you found, and it's €480:

This one has the same graphics chip as the one above but has a more powerful processor, not that it will matter much to Sims 4, and 500 GB storage. It's €600.

These two have Intel processors and graphics chips, with the first being equivalent to the hardware in the ones above and the second being a little faster. They're €600 and €650, respectively.

All of these would run Sims 4, all current packs include, on medium-high to high graphics settings, with the last one performing a little better than the others. To get ultra graphics, you'd need to step up to a gaming laptop, which are more expensive. But if you'd like to see some options in that category, let me know. And if you want other options in general, please list any websites where you'd be comfortable buying. I only know of a few others that serve Ireland and have heard mixed reviews on those from other shoppers.
