@crinrict I tried loading the Clothing folder - I have them all separated, each cc has a different folder; hair, eyes, clothes, build etc
The clothing folder is about 500mb and it loaded quite slow for what I'm used to, it took 2mins (that may sound fast but I'm used to having 10GB loaded within 10min) after that loaded, I decided to try a few other folder and that's where my problems is shown again, after 15min it still wasn't loading and it was only 2GB.
I just read through the manual and I've tried that also ☹️ I really don't know what to do now, I've been trying to make my game work for 4 hours now.
If you put JUST that animations folder, does it load ?
You need to determine if there's a mod/cc in there that makes the game hang (aka it will never load) or if it's just really slow and you can only find that by not having a lot of cc.
So try doing it folder by folder, taking the other things out again after you tested them.
There's also a tool called Mod Conflict detector (you need to google, I'm not allowed to link) that can help you find any conflict between mods/cc. It doesn't detect conflicts with the game itself but can tell you if two mods/cc conflict each other.
Could you also post your Computer's DxDiag?

@crinrict I'll try to load that folder, it's only 68.5mb so it should load in like 1min or less. I guess I'll try it folder for folder and test it out, when I'm all done - I'll get back to you.
I have the Mod Conflicter, I also used it and the weird thing is the conflicter says a lot of mods are conflicted but that was before this problem so to pick them all out now is just impossible as the app gives a lot of false positives.

Make sure the game runs on your card and not the Intel Chip: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/Setting-Up-a-Graphics-Card-Gaming-Profile/td-p/5704790

@crinrict I finally got past the infinite loading screen with my cc working. I tested it folder for folder and found something wrong with my skins folder which is really weird as I didn't add anything new to it. Still puzzled about that. But what puzzles me the most is that my loading times have doubled even though I did a factory reset on my game.
Well it's working for now and guess I'll have to buy some patience potions or something because the waiting time is now about 40min which is really frustrating as I didn't change anything really to the game. I'll keep in mind every time I'll add something new I'll first add it to a folder titled 'New CC' before placing it in corresponding folders.
Also, I honestly have no idea if TS4_64.exe is using my graphics card as the main one. I honestly didn't even know I had integrated graphics 520 and nvidia gtx 940mx. I have my graphics card set to recommended use as some games become even slower when they only use the nvidia card.
