Won't let my sim bake a cake

It's past my sims birthday and as far as I know, the only way you can age up sims is through a cake! If there are any cheats letting you age up your sim however please let me know! Every time my si...

Testingcheats should give you the option to age a Sim up. Just shift-click on the Sim and choose Trigger Age Transition (after entering the cheat testingcheats true)

For your actual issue: Check if there's something in the oven. If so, try take that out or replace the oven with a new one.

I tried using the cheat but the Trigger Age Transition won't show up :/
