workouts never finish, bar doesn't fill

When my sims are doing a workout, the progress bar stays at the beginning forever and I have to physically stop it after a while instead of them completing the workout. I use Vampires, Kid's Room, Get to Work, Holiday and Cats And Dogs, as well as some CC for CAS.

@Lyndsey88888888 Are you sure you're just not waiting long enough? Mine doesn't show the progress bar moving either, but they always stop on their own when they finish.

@Lyndsey88888888 I could replicate this: the action bubble started off but did not progress when choosing to Workout in the machine (at the gym). When my new sim had reached to level 1 1/2 of Fitness skill, the green bar went quickly around the bubble and they stopped working out, like the previous poster said. Does it happen on all the equipments? What traits does your sim have?
It seems similar to the homework/shower bug reports, but I found no already made bug report on it in the master list.

@DonroaAkashu All the other activities seem to be working fine, the workout issue has been with all of the sims I've tried it with. The most recent I tried had traits of genius, active, perfect toddler and cheerful.

@Lyndsey88888888 Oh my goodness I feel so silly now. I just tried again and decided to just wait it out.... it did just go back, maybe there was a bug or something but it all seems fine now 🙂
