Wrong House Loading

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.51.77.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure, I bulldozed a current lot. Built a new house. Keeps going back to old house.
What happens when the bug occurs? From the neighborhood map it shows the new house I built. But when I click to play it, it loads the family with the old house I had bulldozed.
What do you expect to see? The new house that I built instead of the old house that was on the lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I spent a lot of time building a house and would love a way to get the right one to load. Please help!

    Hi @NikkiTrickie7 

    sounds like some kind of caching issue

    I would save the house to the library to make sure you still have it, then shut down the game and reload.

    If that doesn't fix it, also delete this file: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\localthumbcache.package

    Hi Crin, There is no way unfortunately to save the house to my library because every time I go into the lot it loads the old one. And im pretty sure there is no way to save a house to the library from the neighborhood map screen. 

    I also did try to delete that file and still loads the old one, sadly.

    I did try to repair the game too...didn't help.

    This depresses me but I guess I lost my house, I will keep that in mind in the future whenever I build something now to make sure I save every process of the build to my library just incase this happens again.

    Yes, it sadly sounds like you can't save the house but maybe you could try again if the same happens on a different lot ?
