Issue with Royalty and Legacies Expansion – Problems with Secret Child System

I’m experiencing several serious issues with the latest expansion, Royalty and Legacies, specifically related to the “Secret Child” system. Here’s what’s happening in my game:

1.Secrets disappear over time, including the “Secret Child” secret. Once the secret vanishes, it becomes impossible to expose it. I tried multiple ways to find an option to reveal the secret, but after it disappears, it basically dies in obscurity and can never be uncovered.

2. Because neither the secret child nor the parent discovers the secret, they are able to develop romantic relationships and feel attraction toward each other. The romance menu remains fully active, which is extremely problematic.

3. The secret child still appears in the family tree of both parents. However, if the secret is never exposed, the parent can still pursue romance with their own child.

4. The “Secret Child” secret is only generated when a married female Sim has a baby with another Sim. If a married male Sim has a baby with a secret lover, the “Secret Child” secret is not generated at all.

5. I believe this is a type of secret that should never disappear, or at the very least should be discoverable through other means. If secret children grow into teenagers without knowing who their biological parents are, they become potential romantic partners, which creates very disturbing and unintended gameplay situations.

I’m not sure whether this is technically a bug, but I don’t think the secret system should function this way — especially for players who enjoy playing with multiple generations.
