I believe the localthumbnail.cache file is supposed to reappear every time you open the game. It’s the game’s cache. If your mods are consistently not working, there may be a broken one that needs to be removed/updated before clearing the cache will help, since it’s not just a cached issue. It’s something that’s actively happening each time.
