Question

Not launching. I've tried everything.I uninstalled the game and EA. Restarted my PC. Redownloaded them. Nothing.I've attempted to launch in every compatibility setting. I've tried running both as administrator and not running both as administrator.I cleared my EA cache.I created a local profile and attempted to launch. Nothing.I allowed the game and the EA app through all firewalls and antivirus.&nbsp;It still says it requires permissions. I hit okay. Then nothing. I'm extremely frustrated that i spent money on this game AGAIN. For it to not work. Help.

This is the sims legacy edition by the way, not the sims 2.

playersup742 xzroms_com &nbsp;Please try reinstalling your 2015 and newer VC++ runtimes. &nbsp;Open Windows Settings &gt; Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, and uninstall everything from 2015 and newer. Don't touch the older versions.
Download the x86 and x64 versions (not the ARM version) of the 2022 runtimes from Microsoft:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
Install the runtimes, restart your computer, and try to play.
