So...I'm not as concerned as the people on Twitter right now. I'm not at ALL surprised given

1) the Sims 4 free to play launch
2) general trends in the gaming industry
3) standards set by popular franchises (fortnite, minecraft)

What really is going to make the different is if they continue to make high-quality gameplay content in expansion packs or if they are mostly going to microtransact with individual buy mode items.
