As someone who has grown up with the Sims, playing the original Sims on GameCube when I was a little girl; the one that stands out the most is Sims 2 Castaway (NOT castaway stories). Exploring your surroundings, befriending the monkeys, harvesting materials to build structures and clothing, making a boat to explore other islands and reunite with your friends, AHHH the nostalgia! I loved that improving in the game was skill based, not monetarily driven. It was such a refreshing change from regular Sims and I’ve struggled to find anything like it. I would do anything to be able to play it again without having to buy a PS2. I would loooove for someone from EA to comment and say it’s in the works but maybe that’s just wishful thinking!
