Can I transfer my Sims Medieval Game(plus expansion) to another computer?

So The Sims Medieval is the first computer game I have ever downloaded, so forgive me of this is a totally obvious question. I am buying a new computer and I was wondering how to transfer the game (and the expansion pack) to the new computer and will everything be erased if I do that?&nbsp;

Sure you can. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you should transfer your save files to the new computer too. Otherwise you will have to start from the beginning. You can find your save files here:
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval\Saves

Copy these files on a USB stick or burn them on a disc and move them to your new PC.

i didnt save the files &amp; want to transfer the game to a different computer &amp; it wont let me how would this be fixed??
