Cannot Paint Portrait in Sims 3 Pets PS3

Okay, so ive been searching for a fix to this bug for about 5 hours now and NO ONE has even gotten close to finding the answer to my question. NOT EVEN THE 247 HELP LINE. They told me "oh this issue gotta be fixed by other players"... What???? Anyhow my question is, How do I make it to where my character will paint a portrait. I have no option for it yet I have reached level 1p painting and get wishes for it. How do I fix this bug!! Someone pleaaasee help me im begging ya! And no i have no mods or DLC. If you guys can help me out I would be greatly appreciated. You would definetly recieve a better review then these foreigners who dont know * working for this 24/7 "live support" *.
