Cant transfer save files for Sims games

I have Sims 3, Sims 4 and Sims medieval and I've just got a new computer and wanted to transfer my save files from my old PC. I copied them all over to the appropriate locations but when I've opened ...

    @magick_mogwai Hey, what locations have you moved the files to?

    I think it should be My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims Medieval/Saves for this game, and the matching folders for TS3 and 4. 

    It sounds like this should be working, you can try creating a new save on your new install, then copy your backup save into that folder.
