Yesterday I installed The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on two machines my new 2022 laptop windows 11 and my old 2018 windows 10 old desktop.
Played the game for hours, had to reinstall the game on my window 10 machine.
Now it is stuck at 14% pause the download, says download error, calculating time.
It installed on TWO machines perfectly fine hours earlier, so I have no what's wrong with it.
I've cleared the EA app cache multiple times, uninstalled it and installed it, I even uninstalled EA app then installed the old version of origin and let it reinstall the new EA app.
It was working hours before, now it's not this makes no sense and you are forever stuck with EA app if you want to access your own copy of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection.
Also my computer both Windows 10 and Windows 11 won't install my Sims 2 CDs, so this is very disappointing. Saying the program is blocked by the administrator, when I am the administrator.
That's crazy, cuz mine has been stuck at 14% too. What the hell.

779d42a5-4b00-4587-9aff-d64b36a8df38 is my Report ID, I am as well, having the same issue. I even got it when trying to "repair" the game since it wouldn't open correctly. It opened on a black screen with no way of clicking around.
