I don't need to pretend... Last year, I bought a house in an HOA community and within the first couple weeks was invited to the Garden club. My puppy and I literally got attacked by a swarm a wasps last week while hiking in the woods behind my house and after the event, the Sims came to mind as I recalled running back and forth to stop the stinging. Let me tell you... motivation was massively low the entire day after that. My house is way too big for me, so when I don't have time to clean up rooms, I feel the environment score go down and it's annoying. And because I moved to New England, all the homes around me look like TS2 Maxis made starter homes. I had no idea how true to life this game was until I bought my house in the burbs. Now if only I could get raises they way they do in the game!
