failed to find any directx 9.0 c compatible graphics adapters in this system

Hello, I have Installed Sims 2 (21 in 1)

I can't run the game, getting an error : Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a direct X9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate.

Searched many sites, and nothing not helping me with this problem.

Need help.

Sims 1 Works fine

But Sims 2 won't

    @WolfBlasterX When I tun it on Windowed mod its works but when I want to run it on full screen getting the error.
    used -w command to make it windowed screen.
    Hoping for any help.

    @WolfBlasterX , you need to download the Graphics Rule Maker program (Google search for it) and make sure that your graphics card is a part of the Graphics Rule.sgr file. Even if you play on Windows XP or Windows 7, you still need to do this to get rid of this error. For more information on Graphics Rule Maker, go to Leefish's forums.
