flickering screen Sims Medieval?

So I used to play medieval years ago and when I saw it on origin today I downloaded it to play (since the country is on lockdown) but the screen keeps flickering? Does anyone know how to fix it? The ...

    Hi There I know this is old but if you change edge smoothing to low the flickering stops .
