For Sims Medieval, "ask to court" is not showing up

I'm trying to do the marriage quest and I chose my spy and knight sims to marry each other. I had their relationship status go up with their friendship and then their romance and I did all the romantic socials until it reached extremely irresistible but the "ask to court" option is not showing up. Is this a glitch or are there certain sims that can't be courted and marry? I at first thought it was because my knight sim had another love interest so I broke that off but the asking to court is still not showing up.

@Tremayne4260 Ok little update. I think I figured out the problem. Without realizing it, I remembered that I married off one of the targeted sims on another quest and I missed the married icon when I was looking at the married sim's relationship panel cause I was focusing too much on finding the heart symbol instead of the married symbol. Though I realized this after cancelling the quest and I haven't gotten around to testing if I can marry the targeted sims yet after I had the married sim divorce her first husband. I'll try to get around to testing it out at some point.

  • @beeke404 , I know you asked another question in another thread, but I'm going to answer in this one. Do you use any mods or CC in your game?

Sometimes, you need to just take more time at the "relationship".  I've had to do that in game myself. I've had actions cancel out too, but I make sure they are both in a good mood before they "Woo Hoo".

@beeke404 , I'll have to test it out in my game. Sometimes it just takes a long time for those interactions to take place.
