- I feel like this time of the year is pretty quiet (not to say boring) in general, thankfully @MonaSolstraale has a nice surprise to keep us entertained on a rainy day: a 80+ chapters story titled Tusnelda and Trix - The Future Hold It All ๐. In those tales, you follow Tusnelda and her cat Trix embarking on a self-discovering journey. There are already three finished parts available to read, and the fourth part is being published at the moment. I love the dynamic between Tusnelda and Trix and how protective they are of each other! As the story progresses, we are meeting more and more characters just like a regular tv show, and I can't wait what the future holds for all of them ๐ You should definitely give it a read, and don't blame me if you find yourself getting sucked into the story for a couple of hours!
- If you have been following the wholesome team challenge that is the world collaboration of Cape Albacore in The Sims 3, the latest addition is from @Sandraelle who has built a beautiful seaside beach house named Sea Spray ๐. This one-bedroom home is perfect for a couple or a single sim to move in or for a vacation. Your sim(s) will be able to enjo a nice stroll by the beach, a delicious barbecue on a sunny day and a warm drink by the fire pit on a chilly evening. Bonus points if you would like to move in with your cats, everything is already set up for them! I strongly encourage you to keep an eye on the Cape Albacore collaboration, it's great to see everyone coming together to create a beautiful neighborhood by bringing their own personal touch ๐๏ธ
- Feeling like a break or a change of scenery? @MillerMeteor got you covered with the perfect Commercial Complex located in Oasis Springs ๐ด. Whether you stop there on a road trip or come to hang out with friends or family, this complex has everything and more. You can buy all the essentials from groceries to brand new clothes and patio furnitures, then head out to the bakery for a nice treat ๐ and finish off with a refreshing bubble tea. The architecture and colours match the rest of the oasis and I love the attention to details in the convenience store, it truly looks like a shop you could stumble upon in real life. Head over to the Gallery now if you'd like to add this beautiful build to your game, your sims will only be delighted!
- Finally, @simgirl1010 wants to know everything about your toddlers and is inviting all of you to share their last achievements or mischiefs and other discoveries ๐ถ Apparently, toddlers with the Destructive traits tend to destroy dollhouses in particular, so you are being warned if you care about those! There are adorable pictures of toddlers in the thread (even better: toddlers and DOGS) and cute stories about them. I have to admit I don't often play with toddlers because I find then high-demand but this thread is making me reconsider my choices. I'm not ready to try out the 100 kids challenge but I can at least start with one! Feel free to share your experience and photos of your favourite toddlers in the thread, we would be delighted to see them ๐
- Finally, let's finish off those highlights with the poll of the week: @Atreya33 needs your help to decide in which lot the next family should settle in Chestnut Ridge ๐ด. The household is made of a couple, a cat and one horse so far and prefers to pick a different neighborhood than New Appaloosa. Rider's Glen is wining the poll and that would have been my pick too, it's ideal for a small household that might need to expand at some point and it has various builds that should suit everybody's needs. I love to see everyone's advice and pictures of their own lots. It looks like Atreya33 has listened to the results of the poll and the household is now settled in Rider's Glen, and the build is coming along beautifuly โค๏ธ.
And that wraps up another week, have a great weekend folks and see you next time!
