Friday Highlights May 19th - A Week on The Sims Forums
FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS, MAY 19TH- A WEEK ON THE SIMS FORUMS
Sul sul!
Everyone, welcome to this week's highlights.πππ This week's selection was difficult (as always), because there were so many unique and creative stories to choose from, but I picked a fascinating collection that I hope you all love as much as I did. π
But first, a couple game updates:
Returning to the highlights, I wanted to share this lovely image that will give some relief from the approaching heat waves in some areas. @GoddessByline needed to escape from the sun and forget all about the pollen in the air π, so nothing beats playing Sims while stargazing π after a snowstorm β. I already feel refreshed... π

I hope you enjoyed these highlights as much as I did π€ Thank you everyone!.... Have a wonderful weekend/week & Happy gaming...
(Don't forget to vote for the upcoming kits before this Sunday π)

Everyone, welcome to this week's highlights.πππ This week's selection was difficult (as always), because there were so many unique and creative stories to choose from, but I picked a fascinating collection that I hope you all love as much as I did. π
But first, a couple game updates:
- This Tuesday, Sims Delivery Express released an update π. A new and improved Caliente family has been added to the game π₯. And that's not all... the Sim recipe book now includes Matzah Ball soup and Challah bread; have you tried these yet? We would like to know how much you enjoy them π.
- Second, we want to remind that you can vote for 2 upcoming kits. We understand that it is a difficult decision, but we want you to be a part of it, so if you haven't already, remember that you only have until this Sunday the 21st at 7:00 pm PST to vote. You can select between a fashion kit (π Rainbow core or Goth fashion π€) and a build kit (π° Medieval Castle or High Tech Futurism π). Make your predictions...and vote! π

In the highlights...
- This week, I didn't want to miss up the opportunity to honour and commemorate the mothers and mother figures who have helped us grow ourselves and our games π. So for this first highlight, we're going big with a double pick:
β First up is @lisasc360, who wishes us a happy Mother's Day in 2023 π and shows us this lovely family in The Sims 3. This is a particularly emotional and funny story about a young mother and father who experienced many peculiar challenges and adventures while raising their kids. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
β Following that is @simgirl1010, who wishes all mothers in The Sims 4 a Happy Mother's Day! She has a lovely collection of photographsof many mothers and grandmothers with their children to commemorate themof her family matriarch with her kids and grandkids at different stages π₯°. @KestrelDC gets special recognition for sharing a really special family member πΆ. So, if you haven't already, go celebrate all your Sims' mothers. π
- Next is @DaniRose2143, who has a very interesting perspective and asks us How do you play The Sims? In my case, I have a tendency to control my sims π©βπ« I create them with a story and a personality in mind, and then I make them do what I want...π @DaniRose2143, on the other side, says that with the progress of The Sims, she has given their sims more freedom and allowed them to explore the game by themselves. I'll try your way next time and see where they take me π. And you, which one do you prefer, tell us...
- This is an unusual question asked by @Brd709. Which changed my perspective on the game by asking us how long your sims have lived in their residence and, as a result, which residence have you lived in the longest? In my case, my choice will be the one I was using for a legacy challenge, which I've had for around 250 or 300 sims years (a few generations π
)... OMG! I'm curious if any of my furniture now qualifies as antique πͺ... So, what about you? Which of your residencies has been the longest? Tell us everything.
- Last but not least, I select this incredible decoration/construction that @Sthenastia has brought in for us and that also extends an open invitation to all console gamers who want to participate in the Console Creative Corner. This pick is an Industrial Penthouse that radiates elegance, with simple colours and straight lines that make you want to move in right away. The editing work deserves special recognition, it's more than superb π€©. So... Have you seen it yet? If not, what are you waiting for? π
I hope you enjoyed these highlights as much as I did π€ Thank you everyone!.... Have a wonderful weekend/week & Happy gaming...
(Don't forget to vote for the upcoming kits before this Sunday π)
