Ah I see it sucks I won’t be able to do it without internet. My wifi router is drilled into the basement wall in a tiny closet full of spiders so it’s quite impossible for me to get the clunky computer down there haha, I’m trying to figure out how to share a connection from my laptop with an Ethernet cable though hopefully that works although it didn’t seem to be earlier I might figure it out.
@manasnotdead If your laptop has Internet access from wifi, you can use Internet Connection Sharing on the laptop network adapter to share with the desktop.
(but I don't know if it will be possible between two computers with different Windows OS)
