Graphic Missing for Databes

When I hope my Sims 2 Ultimate Pack that I recieved from Origins during the promotion I hear it launching but I cannot actually see a window. When I click on the icon on my toolbar to open the window it flickers black but continues to launch without letting me see it. I have played this since downloading it, and the last time I played it was about a week ago. This is the first time this is happening. When I opened the HP configuration for it it said this:

Is my problem because the databse graphic is suddenly gone? If so, how do I fix this? Should I just uninstall the pack than reinstall it from origins?

  • I'm no expert, but maybe the game is having trouble recognizing your graphics card. This guide here might hold a solution to your problem: http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=5446

I have heard of people having trouble starting up this game after a period of inactivity, so, unfortunately, you're not alone. Hopefully the link I posted helps. If it doesn't, there may be a deeper issue going on and, if worse comes to worse, you might even have to try reinstalling the game...
