Hi everyone, this is the only place that I can post a comment, so sorry I already introduced myself couple months ago, now I'm having another issue with the game. And really really needed HELP please!!!
It's about the "Resource.cfg" file. I wanna put all the Houses that I downloaded from "Tray" to a subfolder that I created in "Mods".
So I edited the "Resource.cfg" file with this:
DirectoryFiles Tray autoupdate
DirectoryFiles Tray\* autoupdate
FileType 0x2a8a5e22 trayitem
FileType 0x3924de26 blueprint
FileType 0xd33c281e bpi
FileType 0xb3c438f0 householdbinary
FileType 0x3bd45407 hhi
FileType 0x56278554 sgi
FileType 0x370efd6e room
FileType 0x00de5ac5 rmi,
Instead of editing Resource.cfg file but I let it open with "Notepad" (forgot to unckeck the "Always open with Notepad"), so after editing, the resource.cfg file appears like a notepad not like an original .cfg file anymore. I tried to restore the file but I couldn't find a way to undo what I did :(
And since then my game is glitched. My Sims only have 1 stage emotion like Fine, or Happy, or Focused.. I mean only 1. And also he has no desire to do anything to get the aspiration points and rewards. I mean there're no popup thinking things on top of the Sims icon at the bottom left corner where we can do/lock the task to help the played sims earn aspiration points and rewards.
I don't know what to do or describe because I can't post any pictures or create a topic in the right place due to being a newbie.
Just hope you know what I mean lol
So I would like to restore the "Resource.cfg" file like it used to be, not under a notepad image.
Please help! Thankyou so much in advance!
*Btw, things I already tried: I have the original "Resource.cfg" file, copied and pasted to the Mods folder, disabled mods as well as script mods.
I also "Repaired" the game ( I have every expansions, packs and stuffs, I mean I let Origin repaired everything).
