Hello everyone! I'm not new to the forums, but relatively new to posting on here.. I lurk around in the shadows looking for tips when I need it, but I just found the whole community so nice and supportive that I decided to actually start posting a few weeks ago. I have been playing since the first sims game came out, and played a bit Sim City before that, and became immediately hooked on The Sims 1. Two was awesome, three was great (though a little bloated), and four is also awesome, but I see that I need to upgrade my gaming rig for the loading to be quicker.

Other than that, I love reading, painting/drawing, I have two cats and a fiancé. So that's me. :smile:

The forums are great to find out helpful things about the game, as well to enjoy meeting other simmers and seeing their creations and hearing about the stories of their sims. Enjoy reading and posting!
It is great that you have a youtube channel. You would enjoy making videos of your sims lives and sharing them with other simmers. The Tiny Living Challenge sounds a great challenge to do.
It is nice that you have been simming since the original The Sims. Each of the versions have great features in them.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding to your fiancé!

Thank you @rosemow ! I do have my Legacy Challenge and the Tiny Living challenge on my youtube, but starting out as a new youtuber is rough. It's just a hobby though, and more for me than for any audience, because I love recording and playing my games. And thank you, we're very excited and I am buried in planning. :p I agree - every game has nice features in them, I remember when I made an old lady sim who lived alone get a Guinea Pig and she died from the disease shortly after, haha. The games can be so whimsical at times, I guess that's just why I love them.

@Skr0ala I'm also waiting on Outdoor and Get to Work. It's likely i'll skip over Outdoor though. The businesses in Get to Work are really what draws me to the expansion. Is there anything particular that interests you about either expansion/pack?

@kristinepunktum I've been lurking on the Tiny living challenge. I love tiny living and everyone's house designs are awesome. But I don't know if I could do it! Are you currently doing the challenge?

I am @IXIIkr ! You can see the recordings of it on my youtube channel (search for Catty Gaming, same avatar), and I really enjoy it because it's so different from the baby challenges or legacies or.. really, any challenge I've tried. It's difficult, but I'm such a big fan. It is still in the tryout phase so the rules and such might be changed later on, but having a family of only three-four sims in a 5x5 house is insane! And it also forces you to be creative with furniture placement. It's great, you should try it!

I'm Maggie, I have been playing since 2010, but I didn't make a account til I bought the sims 3 in 2013. I have made over 400 sims and about 30 generations of sims per game.

Hello @WoefulFew :) It is nice to meet you. It is great that you have enjoyed creating so many sims! Creating sims is a fun and very enjoyable part of playing the Sims. We can express our creativity as we design our sims, and it is enjoyable choosing their outfits. It is great then seeing them live their sims lives in the game.
It is nice that you play generations of sims. You would have enjoyed watching the families of your sims grow through their different age stages, and seeing how the children of the generations differ or are similar in their family features,

Thank you, I enjoy adding one noticeable feature in my families and seeing how it passes generation by generation. Plantsims look cool after the 16 generation too
