How can i transfer my Sims 2 games to new computer?
I had/have the Sims 2 deluxe downloaded on my desktop, but my desktop is pretty old and is running slow. The game crashes a lot on there, so I was going to put it on my laptop, except I can't find the first disk! I have all of the other expansion packs, but of course I lost the first one, which you need in order to install the rest.
SO, is there any way I can transfer the game from my desktop to my laptop without the disk?
My dad said sometimes windows parts in random places so that you can't recreate the game, but idk if EA designs their disks so that this doesn't happen? I know that they make a whole separate folder for the game and whatnot, so I was just wondering if this was possible before I go and buy a new one. (I looked for the old one for two days and it's nowhere to be found.)
I also found my sister's old just plain Sims 2, but the CD is scratched beyond repair :// Anything I could do about that either? I don't NEED it to be the deluxe one, although that would be nice.
You can always redeem your games in Origin and then download and install them from there.
Read here how to do that: http://help.ea.com/en/article/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin/
