@EllsBells25 , you will need to find a computer that is running an older version of Windows (like XP or 7) with a disk drive and install the game on that computer. You can then copy the game files to a thumb drive and transfer the game to her computer. She may need a Disk Image to run the game and I am not familiar on how to make them in Windows OS.
I'm having the same issue as well. The disc drive in my computer no longer works. I tried an ISO image, but alas that didn't work either. I kept getting a Conflict with Emulation software error even after trying the SecuROM removal. I'm debating about contacting EA and seeing if they can add it to my account on Origin using my code. If not another option is getting an external disc drive and downloading it from there.
@Smirkeh89 , external disk drives really aren't that expensive in the long run. I play on a Mac which didn't have a disk drive built in, but I bought one (external disk drive) because I transfer a lot of my CDs to iTunes and play DVDs.
