How do you unstick furniture in Sims 2
some of the furniture gets stuck in sims 2 and I can’t figure out how to unstick it.

@bev6usa do you have Move Objects On? That I know will stick furniture together.
How do I tell if this move objects cheat on or not and if it is how do I turn it off?
@bev6usa , open cheat window using C + Control + Shift above and then type in "moveobjects off" to turn it off without the " to turn it off.
I tried using the keys you suggested both on and out of the game play but nothing happened
So you tried to Press Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up the cheat console? And it didn't work? Hmmmm.....
