How to redeem a cd copy of the Sims Medieval?

Hello everyone! I'm new, and I'm having troubles because I wanted to play my copy of the Sims Medieval (and Pirates and nobles) that I bought years ago, but I have the cd version and a new computer which of course does not have the cd slot. I tried with a pc with a cd slot but I have compatibility issues even if I try with compatibility mode, but that is another story. I tried redeeming the code on the Sims website but from here&nbsp;Redeem (ea.com)&nbsp;it takes me to the website and only accepts a 16 digits code (mine has 20), otherwise if I try to redeem from my account on the website it does not accept the code. is there any way to solve this? thanks!

@LadyBratta&nbsp;The steps described&nbsp;here&nbsp;are the only way for players to redeem The Sims Medieval base game on their end. If you are running into issues with the code, try contacting support to see if they can help you register the game. Please note that the link EA App takes you too is for The Sims 3 bonus content (with 16-digit codes), and you will have to use the link provided in the post I mentioned.
